Paul Young, author of “The Shack” shares his testimony and journey of healing from a broken and abusive childhood as a missionary pastor’s kid, and into adulthood, marriage, and finally into adultery and a planned suicide. The Shack represents 11 years of Paul’s life, where it took that long to dismantle the façade and to find out that all this performance for God, God didn’t care about. “He loved the shack – my soul”.
